About Score It High

Score It High is a small game studio obsessed with unfairly fair challenges. We strip play down to a single gesture — draw — and let geometry explain why you are not as steady as you thought. No accounts required to start, no patience required to retry.

Our mission

Score It High exists to answer one question with brutal honesty: how steady is your hand, really? We build small browser games where a single gesture — one continuous stroke — is measured against geometry, not opinion.

  • No tutorials that waste your time — you learn by drawing and failing forward.
  • No paywall on the core loop — play, score, and submit without creating an account.
  • No fake difficulty — the template is fixed; your wobble is the variable.
  • No install friction — every game runs in a modern desktop or mobile browser.

What we build

We are a precision drawing game studio, not a general arcade. Every live title follows the same contract: one stroke, instant accuracy percentage, optional leaderboard submission, and a shareable result if you want witnesses.

  • Perfect Circle

How round can you go? — One stroke. One score. A deceptively simple test of steady hands and quiet nerves. The classic draw a perfect circle game, precision ranked worldwide.

  • Perfect Square

How square can you go? — Four corners. One stroke. Prove your lines are as even as your excuses aren’t. A precision drawing browser game for straight-edge obsessives.

  • Perfect Triangle

How even can three sides be? — Equilateral ambition. One stroke around three corners, steady lines, sharp instincts. Score drawing accuracy in real time.

  • Perfect Heart

How true is your curve? — Trace the classic heart silhouette. Sympathy for wobbles; glory for a clean match. A free online drawing game with ruthless scoring.

How a Score It High game works

  • Pick a shape from the games studio — circle, square, triangle, or heart.
  • Press or tap once and trace the ghost outline without lifting your pointer.
  • Release to lock your stroke; scoring runs immediately on your path.
  • See your precision %, compare to the world average, and retry in seconds.
  • Submit your best run to the global leaderboard or keep grinding for a personal best stored locally.

How scoring stays fair

Each game compares your stroke to an ideal template in screen space. We do not grade artistic flair — we grade geometric fidelity.

  • Circle — radial consistency, smooth curvature, and whether you close the loop where you started.
  • Square — corner sharpness, parallel sides, and equal edge length across four segments.
  • Triangle — equilateral balance so one long side cannot carry a sloppy shape.
  • Heart — curve symmetry and silhouette match; asymmetric lobes cost you points.
  • One submission per honest run — rate limits and deduplication keep leaderboards usable.
  • Geo-tagged country codes on submitted scores power regional leaderboards without exposing street-level location.

What is free — and what is not

  • Free: playing every live game, seeing your score, retrying unlimited times, browsing leaderboards, and reading blog guides.
  • Free: submitting a display name and score to the global board without sign-up.
  • Optional later: accounts, cosmetics, or extras — the one-stroke scoring experience will remain free at the core.
  • We may show ads to keep hosting sustainable; consent is managed through our cookie policy.

Leaderboards & community

  • Global tables rank the best submitted score per player for each game.
  • Country pages aggregate top runs by nation — useful for friendly rivalries and SEO discovery.
  • Scores refresh when you open the leaderboard; studio pages cache aggregates hourly to limit database load.
  • Share cards let you drop your result into group chats — precision is more fun with an audience.

Studio principles

  • Respect the retry

Sessions are seconds long by design. Friction kills the “one more try” loop we care about.

  • Show the math

Players deserve to know scoring is deterministic — same stroke, same result, every time.

  • Ship in the browser

No app store gatekeepers. A link should be enough to challenge a friend.

  • Write what we learn

The blog documents technique, benchmarks, and shape psychology — content for humans and search engines alike.

  • Stay small, stay sharp

We add games deliberately. Each shape earns its place in the catalog before the next ships.

What we are building next

  • Perfect Star — five points, zero mercy; symmetry taken up a notch.
  • More long-form guides tied to each game’s scoring quirks.
  • Deeper country and regional leaderboard discovery from the games studio hub.
  • Continued performance work so cold starts stay cheap on serverless hosting.
