Precision drawing

Draw a 5-point star — ten corners, one stroke

A star is not a circle with spikes. It is ten direction changes: five outer tips and five inner corners, all on one radius.

This is the hardest shape in the studio because every extra corner is another chance to drift off symmetry.

How we score a star

We treat the outline as a 10-vertex decagon and grade point sharpness, even spacing, and a shared radius. Missing an inner corner or stretching one arm costs more here than a similar wobble does on the triangle.

World averages sit lower than circle or square for that reason. An 85% star is a strong run.

How to play

Start at an outer tip, trace every outer point and inner corner without lifting, and close the loop.

Keep each outer tip the same distance from center. Ten corners means ten chances to drift.

Frequently asked questions

How do you draw a perfect star in this game?
Trace the ghost star's outline in one continuous stroke, hitting all five outer points and five inner corners, then close back to your start. Even spacing between points is what separates a 70% from a 90%.
Why is a perfect star hard to draw freehand?
A 5-point star has ten corners packed into one shape — five sharp outer tips and five inner corners, all needing even spacing and consistent radius. That density of direction changes is what makes the perfect star test difficult.
What is a good perfect star score?
Most players score between 60% and 80% — lower than the simpler shapes, since a star has more than triple the corners of a triangle. A score above 85% is excellent and leaderboard-worthy.
Is the Perfect Star game free to play?
Yes. Draw a Perfect Star is completely free, runs in any modern browser, and needs no download, sign-up, or install.
Can I play the Perfect Star game on mobile?
