Precision drawing

Draw an equilateral triangle — three equal sides, no extras

One stroke around three corners. The score is equilateral balance, not whether you pointed the triangle up.

Most people draw a triangle that looks fine until the third side comes out long. That is what we grade.

How we score a triangle

We fit an equilateral triangle to your path and measure side-length agreement, corner sharpness, and closure. A lopsided isosceles that still hits the ghost outline will lose — equal sides matter more than sitting on the template.

The third edge is where scores usually die: you have already committed two lengths, and the last side has to match both.

How to play

Trace all three sides of the ghost in one motion and close the loop. Release to score.

Spend the same time on each edge. Speeding through the last side is the usual symmetry leak.

Frequently asked questions

How do you draw a perfect triangle in this game?
Trace all three sides of the ghost triangle in one continuous stroke, keeping each side equal in length and each corner sharp, then close back to your start. Equal sides are what separate a 70% from a 90%.
Why is a perfect triangle hard to draw freehand?
An equilateral triangle needs three equal sides and three 60-degree corners at once. Keeping the sides the same length by hand while hitting sharp angles is what makes the perfect triangle test difficult.
What is a good perfect triangle score?
Most players score between 70% and 85%. A score above 90% is excellent and leaderboard-worthy because equal sides and clean corners are hard to nail freehand.
Is the Perfect Triangle game free to play?
Yes. Draw a Perfect Triangle is completely free, runs in any modern browser, and needs no download, sign-up, or install.
Can I play the Perfect Triangle game on mobile?
Yes. Draw with your finger on phones and tablets, or use a mouse or trackpad on desktop.
